RxTran : A Translation Integration
For more information on RxTran click the following link: RxTran Information, see below with how it functions in BestRx.
Translated Sig in Rx Processing
To ensure that a translated Sig appears in Rx Processing without utilizing RxTran, set the label language for the patient to match the language used in the translated Sig file. For example, if patient Bruce Wayne requires a translated Sig in Spanish, ensure that the Spanish translation exists in the Sig file. Next, update the patient's profile by setting the label language in Bruce Wayne's patient profile to Spanish. By completing these steps, the translated Sig will appear correctly in Rx Processing.
When the sig is submitted it will generate the Spanish translation that was input in the sig file.
Sig Rx Processing Preview
In the Rx Processing while inputting a sig you’ll also be able to preview the sig before submitting it into the Sig box. It will generate in red text when inputting the sig so you can see which text will be generated.
Patient Language Indicator
In the Rx Processing screen, a Patient Language indicator will be displayed next to the Sig field. This will only be displayed if the patient language is something other than English.
RxTran - Rx Processing Translation
Once the RxTran API is set up with the language provided by RxTran integration. Go into the Patient File and set the label language for the programmed translation. For example, if it is in Spanish set the label language. In Rx Processing enter the sig code, then press the 'T' button to translation and it will prompt to select the closest translation.
Select the closest translation you would like the RxTran integration to be.
Once selected the sig will translate and appear in the sig box in order to be printed on the label.
