Integration Process:
To integrate with BestRx, select your preferred translation language and contact BestRx Support.
Translated Sig in Rx Processing
To display a translated Sig in Rx Processing without using RxTran, set the patient's label language to match the language of the translated Sig file. For example, if patient Bruce Wayne requires a Spanish Sig, ensure the Spanish translation exists in the Sig file and update Bruce Wayne's patient profile by setting his Label Language to Spanish. Completing these steps will ensure the translated Sig appears correctly in Rx Processing.
When the SIG file is submitted, it will generate the corresponding Spanish translation included in the file.
Sig Rx Processing Preview
In Rx Processing, you can preview the sig in the sig box before submitting it. The generated text will appear in red for clarity during input.
Patient Language Indicator
In the Rx Processing screen, a Patient Language indicator appears next to the Sig field if the patient's language is not English.
RxTran - Rx Processing Translation
After setting up the RxTran API with the integrated language, update the ‘label language' in the Patient File (e.g., set to Spanish for Spanish translations). In Rx Processing, enter the sig code, press the 'T’ button, and select the closest translation.
Choose the closest desired RxTran translation.
Once selected, the sig will translate and appear in the sig box for label printing.
Editing an Existing Sig Code
To edit a sig code, enter the code or description in the search box, click 'Display All,' and select the sig to edit.
When editing an existing sig code make sure the Edit Sig option is selected towards the top of the screen. Enter in the appropriate information to be edited and click the ‘Save’ button or press the ‘Enter’ key when the ‘Save’ button is highlighted to save the information.
