Overview
This menu hosts various reports related to dispensing or delivery of prescriptions.
1. HIPAA Signature Log
To access the HIPAA Signature Log, click on Dispense / Delivery 1. Reports 1. HIPAA Signature Log.
When a pharmacy dispenses a patient’s first prescription, it is required to collect a HIPAA signature. The HIPAA Signature Log allows the pharmacy to search for these records by selecting either the patient’s name or the date signed from the “Search Using” drop-down menu. After entering the appropriate information, clicking “Generate Report” will display the results. To print the report, users can either click the “Print” button or press the “Enter” key when the button is highlighted.

The user may also clear all the data displayed on the screen by clicking the "Cancel" button or by pressing the "Enter" key when the "Cancel" button is highlighted.
Send Via Fax
The pharmacy can fax the HIPAA Signature Log by clicking “Send via Fax”, which will prompt them to enter the recipient’s information.
2. Non Picked Up Prescriptions
To access the Non Picked Up Prescription Signature Log, click on Dispense / Delivery 1. Reports 2. Non Picked Up Prescriptions.
The Non Picked Up Prescriptions report allows the pharmacy to view prescriptions that have not been picked up. You can search by "Fill Date," "Patient," "Plan," or "Days in Will Call" by selecting an option from the drop-down menu and entering the relevant information. Click "Generate Report" to view results.
You may also filter the report by Plan Type (e.g., All Plans, Cash, or Third Party) and Drug Schedule (e.g., All Drugs, Non-Controls, Controls (C2–C5), C3–C5 only, or C2 only).
All prescriptions shown are currently marked as ready for pickup. To remove any from the queue, select them and click the "Reverse Rxs" button.
Days in Will Call Enhancement
When filtering by "Days in Will Call," the pharmacy can enter a custom range (e.g., 0–30 days). To add more range options, click “Edit Default Durations.”
The pharmacy can enter custom day ranges (e.g., 15, 30) and click “Save” to apply them as filter options.
Reverse Rxs
To reverse a prescription, select it from the list and click “Reverse Rxs.” You’ll be prompted to confirm the reversal.
After clicking “Reverse Selected Fills,” review the Rx number, then click “Reverse Prescriptions” to complete the process.
Once the Rx# is successfully reversed, you’ll be prompted to either finish or choose one of the following options:
EQ Swap: Find an equivalent NDC to swap.
Print RTS Label: Print a return-to-stock label.
Delete: Remove the Rx# from BestRx.
Place on Hold: Hold the Rx# for future filling.
Add to Queue: Move the Rx# to a custom queue.
Or simply click Finish to complete the process.
Send Pickup Reminder
You can select unpicked-up Rx#s to send patients a pickup reminder.
This requires your pharmacy to have the two-way text messaging feature enabled.
Send General Message
The pharmacy can choose to send a custom or general message to the patient instead of a pickup reminder.
To print the report, click the “Print” button or press “Enter” when it’s highlighted. You can print either the Non-Picked Up Prescriptions report or an RTS label.

To export the report, click the “Export Data” button or press “Enter” when it’s highlighted.
NOTE: Export to Excel only works on full versions of Microsoft Excel/Office. It does NOT work with the Office Starter 2010 and other starter/third party versions. If using any one of these, export to a Comma Separated Values (CSV) instead.
To clear all displayed data, click the “Cancel” button or press “Enter” when it’s highlighted.
3. Picked Up Signature Log
To access the Picked Up Signature Log, click on Dispense / Delivery 1. Reports 3. Picked Up Signature Log.
The Picked Up Signature Log report allows the pharmacy to search for and view details of picked-up prescriptions. You can search by options such as "Fill Date," "Pickup Date," "Patient & Fill Date," "RX Number," or "Rx Number Range" using the drop-down menu. After selecting a search type, enter the required fields and click "Generate Report."
You can also filter by:
Dispense Method: All, Picked Up, Delivered, or Shipped
Signature Type: All, Electronic Signatures, or Paper Signature
To sort the report, click the column header for the field you'd like to sort by.
Send Via Fax
You can fax the report by selecting “Send Fax” or “Send Fax with Patient Address.” You’ll be prompted to enter the fax details.
To print the report, click the “Print” button or press “Enter” when it’s highlighted.

4. Rx Pickup Information Report
To access the RX Pickup Information Report screen, click on Dispense / Delivery 1. Reports 4. RX Pickup Information Report.
The Rx Pickup Information report allows the pharmacy to find out exactly who picked up a prescription in question, if the option to require so Prompt For Singer Info on Delivery Pad is selected in File L. Pharmacy Setup Misc. (page 2) or is otherwise required through BestPOS.
You can search by "Fill Date" and selecting the number of patients, or by "RX Number" and entering the prescription number. Use the "Print Drug Name" drop-down to choose whether to include drug names. When ready, click "Generate Report."
To sort the report, click any column header.
To print the report, click the "Print" button or press "Enter" when it's highlighted.

5. Consent Signature Log
To access the Consent Signature Log, click on Dispense / Delivery 1. Reports 5. Consent Signature Log.
The Consent Signature Log is meant to display information in a report format when patients sign/decline consents; these consents can be set up in the Consent File under File I. Patient Consent File
The report can be generated by Name or Date Signed, with an option to select a date range. It can also be filtered by Consent Type and grouped by Patient. To sort, click any column header.
To print the report, click the "Print" button or press "Enter" when it's highlighted.

6. Auto Refill Consent Signature Log
The Auto Refill Consent Signature Log can be accessed by California pharmacies by navigating to to Dispense/Delivery 1. Reports 6. Refill Consent Log.
Effective July 1st, 2022, California requires pharmacies to obtain consent for automatic refills of prescriptions.
To help comply with this law, BestRx will prompt the pharmacy to ask for patient consent to enable auto refills on every prescription, and for refills that have been changed from the original prescription. The patient signs to confirm their consent, and those signatures are stored in the Auto Refill Consent Signature Log.
If consent was previously obtained, but a change was made to the drug, drug strength, dosage form, or sig direction on the prescription, consent will be dropped for that prescription.
The next time the prescription is dispensed, the patient will be prompted for consent again. The consent signature log will include information on the changes that were made to the prescription that resulted in consent to be collected again.
To view consent signatures, select your search criteria using the "Search Using" field, enter the Dates, Rx Number, and/or Patient, then click Generate.
The report will display matching results, including the Rx number, patient, drug, signature date, consent status, and signature image. To print the report, click the Print button.
Refill Consent Signature Log – Example Entry
If consent was previously given but changes were made to the drug, strength, dosage form, or sig, consent will be removed. When the prescription is dispensed again, the patient will be prompted to provide new consent. The consent log will show the changes that triggered the new consent request.
