Delivery Provider Settings
This screen allows for Delivery Provider settings to be added or adjusted. The function utilizes the FTP protocol/API to communicate with the delivery provider(s); these settings should only be modified with BestRx supervision.
The feature currently supports multiple delivery carriers like FedEx, United Delivery Service (UDS), UPS, ScriptDrop, STAT Overnight Delivery/Ameriship, USPS via EasyPost, Medzoomer, PackEtek, Rx2Go, RxMile, DeliverSTAT.
To change Delivery Provider settings, click on Dispense / Delivery Delivery Provider Settings.
Enter in the appropriate information and click the "Save" button or press the "Enter" key when the "Save" button is highlighted to save the information. Click the "Save & Exit" button or press the "Enter" key when the "Save & Exit" button is highlighted to save the information and go back to the previous screen.
The user may also clear all the data displayed on the screen by clicking the "Cancel" button or by pressing the "Enter" key when the "Cancel" button is highlighted.
FedEx Shipping Integration
These settings control the FedEx Shipping credentials and configuration options for your FedEx service, make sure you look at the setup in the FedEx article before proceeding.
For shipping providers, BestRx can automatically change the Workflow status if the shipment is canceled to either "Shipment Canceled" or "Ready to Ship".
BestRx can also set “Require Signature for Shipments” to one of the following (e.g. None, All Controlled Rxs, All Rxs).
Settings for FedEx
Active Provider : Indicate if this is an active shipping vendor you're using to mail shipments.
Account # : Enter the FedEx Account number for your account.
Meter Number : Enter the FedEx meter number.
Username : Enter your FedEx username
Password : Enter your FedEx password
Bill orders to: Set this to My Account or third party if applicable.
Default Shipment Settings
These correspond to the vendor's service option availability.
Service Type : Indicate the type of service you'd like to choose as default when shipping packages through FedEx
Pickup / Drop-off Type : Indicate what the default Pickup/Drop-off type should be for all shipments
Package Type : Indicate the default shipment package type
Default Package Measurement
Here you can specify what package type should default to specific measurements.
For example, you can make the FedEx Envelope always weigh 2oz, be 10" long, 3" wide and .25" high. You can change these settings for all the available package types.
UDS Delivery Integration
UDS offers local shipping services much alike the major shipping carriers, just limited to the Chicagoland area. It will appear if BestRx is set to State: IL.
UDS Settings
These settings control the United Delivery Service (UDS) credentials and configuration options for your UDS service.
Active Provider : This setting controls whether or not UDS is an active shipping provider in the system.
Account # : Enter your UDS account number here
Host Name : This field is not editable and exists to display the current host name setting.
Port : This field is not editable and exists to display the current port setting.
Username : Enter your UDS user name here
Password : Enter your UDS account password here
Send COD : Indicate if you'd like to send Cash on Delivery information to UDS
Obtain Signature on Delivery : Indicate if you'd like the system to prompt to obtain signature on delivery
UPS Shipping Integration
These settings control the UPS Integration credentials and configuration options for your UPS service.
For shipping providers, BestRx can automatically change the Workflow status if the shipment is canceled to either "Shipment Canceled" or "Ready to Ship".

Active Provider : Indicate if this is an active shipping vendor you're using to mail shipments.
Account Number : Enter the UPS account number
Client ID : Enter your UPS Client ID #
Client Secret # : Enter your UPS password
Signature Required For: Select if signature is required for (None, All Controlled Rxs, All Rxs).
Default Shipment Settings
These correspond to the vendor's service option availability.
Pickup / Drop-off Type : Indicate what the default Pickup/Drop-off type should be for all shipments
Package Type : Indicate the default shipment package type
Default Package Measurement
Here you can specify what package type should default to specific measurements.
For example, you can make the UPS Letter always weigh 2oz, be 10" long, 3" wide and .25" high. You can change these settings for all the available package types.
ScriptDrop Integration
These settings control the ScriptDrop credentials and configuration options for your ScriptDrop service. Make sure to follow the ScriptDrop Integration Article.
Settings for ScriptDrop
Allow On-Demand Deliveries: Currently this feature is set to No as default, when enabled it allows for "unscheduled" and out of workflow on-demand deliveries without needing to pre-schedule them.
Print Courier Label : This setting controls whether or not the courier label is printed. This label is typically placed on the bag to be delivered.
Courier Label Left Margin : Indicate the left margin for the courier label print
Courier Label Top Margin : Indicate the top margin for the courier label print
Print Pharmacy Label : This setting controls whether or not a paper signature sticker is printed or not. This sticker may sometimes be necessary if the pharmacy is not taking electronic signatures.
Pharmacy Label Left Margin : Indicate the left margin for the signature label print
Pharmacy Label Top Margin : Indicate the top margin for the signature label print
STAT Overnight Delivery/Ameriship Integration
To use our integration with STAT, the pharmacy must set up an account with STAT by emailing their sales department or calling their phone number. The pharmacy will need to be provided an API Key by STAT for setup.
Settings for STAT
Active: Indicate whether the integration is active
API Key #: Enter the API Key provided by STAT into this field.
Signature Required For: Indicate what prescriptions require a signature.
Send COD: Indicate whether to send a Cash on Delivery/Collect on Delivery amount to STAT, so they know to collect money at the time of delivery.
If this option is enabled, the COD field will appear below the Total Amount field when sending the order.
EasyPost Delivery Integration
Once the pharmacy has provided their Production API key, navigate to Dispense/Delivery Delivery Provider Settings and select USPS via EasyPost as the Provider.
Settings for USPS via EasyPost
Active: Set whether the integration is enabled.
API Key #: Enter the Production API key for the pharmacist’s account.
The pharmacy might receive a Production API key and Test API key. Please be sure to use the Production API key.
Signature Required For: Set whether EasyPost should collect the signature for no prescriptions, controlled prescriptions, or all prescriptions.
If the signature is marked as required, the signature will not be returned to the BestRx system directly. The pharmacy will need to obtain proof of delivery from the carrier’s website using the tracking number of the order.
USPS Shipping Automation
Address Verification Action: Address Verification can be set to automatically update the address for shipping only or for shipping and the patient profile address. Both Auto Update options will bypass the popup normally seen when address verification is done. Prompt to Update Address will display the popup to verify the address.
Auto Print Shipping Label: Setting Auto Print Shipping Label to Yes will bypass the print dialogue normally seen when the label is printed.
Auto Apply for all Shipments: Selecting Auto Apply for all Shipments will use every setting in that section for all shipments, bypassing the popups for the rate and package weight & dimensions.
Auto Select Specific Rate: Choosing Yes to Auto Select Specific Rate will allow the Rate/Service Type to be defaulted for every shipment and will use the selected choice.
Medzoomer Integration
Medzoomer is a fairly straight forward setup. You will receive a ticket from Integrations that will include the API key. Connect to the pharmacy’s server.
Medzoomer Settings
Set Active to: Yes.
Enter the API key.
Ask the pharmacy is they would like to send COD (Cash on Delivery) and change it to yes if they would like.
Once the credentials are entered and saved, restart BestRx, and the setup is complete. Make a note in the ticket and return it to Integrations.
PackEtek Integration
Straight forward setup you’ll receive an API key and Provider Key (if not already pre-populated) from integrations. Return your ticket when complete.
Active: Indicate whether the integration is active
API Key #: Enter the API Key provided by PackEtek into this field.
Provider Key: Enter the Provider Key provided by PackEtek.
Send COD: Indicate whether to send a Cash on Delivery/Collect on Delivery amount to PackEtek, so they know to collect money at the time of delivery.
If this option is enabled, the COD field will appear below the Total Amount field when sending the order.
Signature Required For: Indicate what prescriptions require a signature (e.g. None, All Rxs, All Controlled Rxs)
Rx2Go Integration
Rx2Go is a fairly straight forward setup.
You will receive a ticket from Integrations that will include the Delivery Provider Account Number, User ID, and Password. Connect to the pharmacy’s server
Rx2Go Settings
Set Active to Yes.
Enter the Delivery Provider Account Number: Provided in your ticket
User ID: Provided in your ticket
Password: Provided in your ticket
Ask the pharmacy is they would like to send COD (Cash on Delivery) and change it to yes if they would like.
Signature Required For: None, All Controlled Rxs, All Rxs.
Once the credentials are entered and saved, restart BestRx, and the setup is complete. Make a note in the ticket and return it to Integrations.
RxMile Integration
RxMile is a fairly straight forward setup. You will receive a ticket from Integrations that will include the API key and Client ID. Connect to the pharmacy’s server.

Set Active to Yes.

iOmni Settings
These settings control the iOmni credentials and configuration options for your iOmni service.
BestRx Dispensing Provider
This provider setting isn’t actually for any specific provider; it’s an application programming interface (API) so that custom delivery programs can interact with out software. New shipping providers can use these settings and our specifications (which can be provided in technical documentation upon request) to integrate with our software.
