The Paid Prescription Log is commonly used to review prescriptions that resulted in a paid insurance claim or completed cash transaction. It is primarily utilized for financial visibility and reporting, rather than workflow tracking.

  • Reviewing insurance‑paid amounts, patient copays, and total charges per prescription

  • Generating copay, cash, and total charge summaries for a specified date range

  • Supporting insurance reconciliation discussions and payment‑related inquiries

  • Identifying tax amounts applied to prescriptions

  • Producing data for audits, state programs, or eligibility reporting (e.g., Medicaid percentages)

  • Verifying eVoucher or manufacturer assistance payments by insurance plan

  • Generating reports that include only dispensed prescriptions (excluding rejected or unfilled RXs)

  • Printing or exporting summary‑level totals without prescription‑by‑prescription detail

  • Explaining differences between Paid Prescription Log, Daily Log, and Profit Report totals

  • Does not show transmit date or payment date
The report indicates that a prescription resulted in a paid outcome, but not when the claim was billed or when funds were received.

  • Not a deposit or bank reconciliation report
Values reflect charges and claim responses—not confirmed insurance deposits.

  • Column visibility depends on user permissions
Cost, fee, tax, and insurance‑paid fields may be hidden based on security settings.
