5. Reorder Report

Overview

This screen provides a report to show which drugs need to be reordered from your supplier. To create the report, you can set filters by the last fill date on/after, search by specific Drug Name or NDC, drug type (Brand, Generic, or both), control medication class, and Supplier. You can also opt to show only drugs where the selected vendor is the primary supplier.

Last filled on/after when unchecked option allows the report to ignore the date filter: it will list all drugs with a quantity on hand (QOH) below the minimum threshold, regardless of the last fill date.

Vendor Item #

When adding drugs to the reorder report, a Vendor Item # is required. These numbers are provided by suppliers through 832 Catalog files and EDI setup is necessary when sending an order electronically. If a Vendor Item # is missing, check the supplier's website or contact them directly to obtain it, as it is necessary to "Send Order." Default Order Qty can also be adjusted if necessary when inputting a Vendor Item #.

Send Order

When all drugs are loaded into the reorder queue you may select the “Supplier” which you have your EDI setup configured for. From here you can select the drugs making sure the proper QTY to Order and Package Size has been input and click on “Send Order”, you may also “Print Order” to send manually if necessary.

After the report's been generated simply select the medication desired or click the "select all" check-box to select all the medication in the list to print on the report.

The report can be sorted any time by simply clicking the column name above the records you'd like to sort by.

To print the report page, click the "Print" button or press the "Enter" key when the "Print" button is highlighted.

If you'd like to export the report to a file to send to your vendor, click the "Export Data" button or press the "Enter" key when the "Export Data" button is highlighted.

NOTE: Export to Excel only works on full versions of Microsoft Excel/Office. It does NOT work with the Office Starter 2010 and other starter/third party versions. If using any one of these, export to a Comma Separated Values (CSV) instead.

The user may also clear all the data displayed on the screen by clicking the "Clear" button or by pressing the "Enter" key when the "Clear" button is highlighted.
