To change the CoverMyMeds Setup configuration, click on Misc -> Interface Setups -> CoverMyMeds Setup.
CoverMyMeds Setup
CoverMyMeds is a Prior Authorization service that is an alternative to faxing or printing a Prior Authorization through your computer. It is a free service that you can sign up for on their website: CoverMyMeds. We have also enrolled most of our customers in their service automatically to facilitate a smoother Prior Authorization process for pharmacies.
If you have signed up for the free CoverMyMeds service on your own and have already obtained an account and password, you can enter this information here to have BestRx automatically open and log-in to the CoverMyMeds website while sending faxes through this method.
If you were using CoverMyMeds with a different software vendor, and have converted/are planning to convert over to BestRx, CoverMyMeds will need to be notified of the change over to BestRx in order to use the same credentials.
If you haven't already signed up or haven't been automatically enrolled yet, you can visit CoverMyMeds on the web to inquire about the service.
Login: Enter the CoverMyMeds account username
Password: Enter the CoverMyMeds account password
Synchronize Data With CoverMyMeds:
Intelligent Prior Authorization: Indicate how you'd like to utilize the CoverMyMeds IPA feature; this feature intelligently recognizes PA opportunities and acts on them by either sending, or triggering a PA request automatically based on the claim rejection.
