To Update Plans to Use new NPI Number, click on Misc -> 8. Update Plans to Use NPI Number.

Update Insurance Plans to Use NPI Number

 

The update plans to use NPI function is used when a pharmacy has changed their NPI number, or has obtained, by permission, insurance data from another pharmacy. In order to use these records the NPI number within them has to be updated so the claims sent are appropriately assigned and paid to the correct pharmacy. This function breaks down into Pharmacy ID and Prescriber ID, listing incorrectly matched values in their respective tabs.

 

Select any or all plans either by clicking their respective check boxes, or alternatively click the "Select All" button. To update selected plans simply click the "Update" buttons. The software will pop-up a result box of the update. When done, simply click "Exit" to resume work.
