8. LTC Rx Log

The LTX Rx Log report is used to obtain information on what prescriptions in a specified date range are marked as LTC (Nursing Home) prescriptions. Make sure the patient is selected for a nursing home in order to generate this report.
To access the LTC Rx Log , click on LTC 8. LTC Rx Log
Assisted Living Facility Prescription Log Filters
Status: Displays the status of prescriptions by Paid and transmitted, All but Hold, and All statuses.
Nursing Home: You can select between all facilities or a specific facility to filter
Group Rxs by: You can select between the Nursing home prescriptions or grouping by each patient.
Include Inactive Patients: You can filter by having inactive patients being included or removed from the report.
Cycle: You can filter between prescriptions that are Not on a Cycle or included on ANY Cycle, you may also select a specific cycle to filter for.
The user may also choose whether or not to display the Drug Name, NDC, Quantity, Days, amount of Refills, Copay information, Totals, Prescriber Name, SIG and whether or not to Include Inactive Rx’s.
The report can be sorted any time by simply clicking the column name above the records you'd like to sort by.
Assisted Living Facility Prescription Log Settings
When adjusting the filters on the report in order to make them appear, click the “Generate” button to display the information.
To print the report page, click the "Print" button or press the "Enter" key when the "Print" button is highlighted.
If you'd like to export the report to a file, click the "Export Data" button or press the "Enter" key when the "Export Data" button is highlighted. NOTE: Export to Excel only works on full versions of Microsoft Excel/Office. It does NOT work with the Office Starter 2010 and other starter/third party versions. If using any one of these, export to a Comma Separated Values (CSV) instead.
The user may also clear all the data displayed on the screen by clicking the "Clear" button or by pressing the "Enter" key when the "Clear" button is highlighted.
Added Functionality for Cycle Fill - Print Labels
Print Labels Settings
Cycle Name: Selects the cycle name to print.
Fill Date to Print on Label: Determines the fill date to be printed on the label.
Actual Fill Date - The fill date entered during Rx processing (Best option: less confusing for pharmacy).
Cycle Date - The date the prescriptions was filled when the cycle was triggered.
Special Fill Date - Prompts for custom fill date when the cycle timing is trigger, some pharmacies may use this for nursing home requirements.
Days Supply To Print on Label: Specifies the days supply to be printed on the label.
Actual Day Supply of Rx - Reflects the days supply of the Rx filled during processing (Best option: less confusing for pharmacy).
Number of Days in Cycle - Based on the number of days set in the cycle timing type for the cycle manager.
Number of Days in Month - Sets the days supply based on the number of days in the month.
Custom Days Supply Value - Prompts you to select the number of days' supply to appear on the label.
Also Print Patient Profiles : Sets order to print patient profiles if set to print before patient’s labels, print after patient’s labels, or No, do not print.
Added Functionality for Cycle Fill - Cycle Fill
Cycle Fill: When selecting prescriptions, you have the following options:
The Next Fill (aka Refill): The next refill for this prescription will be added to the cycle fill.
Current Fill: The currently selected fill will be added to the cycle fill.
Cancel: Cancels the prompt entirely.
Sending E-MAR Data
When generating a list of patients on this screen for a nursing home that is configured to receive messages through the Prescriber’s Connection or SureScriptsLTC E-MAR types, a button will appear allowing the pharmacy to send the generated data to the facility.
