2. Charge Account Listing

Overview

The Charge Account Listing screen allows the user to generate a list of all families and patients in the system with an in-house charge account.

This report is the quickest way to gather information about account statuses like balance and past due amounts.

To obtain a Charge Account Listing, click on Acct Receivables 2. Charge Account Listing.

Charge Account Listings Filter

The user can narrow the list down by choosing from the available options.

  • LTC Facility: You can filter for all facilities, select a specific facility, non-LTC patients, or leave it blank to not filter for a facility at all.

  • Delivery Group: You can filter for any patients that are grouped in a specific group name, this is located in the Delivery Group File.

  • Print Balance: Choose whether to print the total balance of the records above in the printout.

  • Print Address: Displays the address of the above patients in the printout.

  • Show Accounts with $0.00 balance: Displays accounts with $0.00 balance depending on if ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ is selected.

  • Credit balance: Displays using the provided dropdown "Yes/No" box.

  • Show Balance for Transaction User can choose all transactions, or transactions through a specified date, by making the selection.

To generate the report itself, click the "Generate Report" button or press the "Enter" key when the "Generate Report" button is highlighted to obtain the result. At any time, you can sort the report by simply clicking the blue column names for any of the columns/data displayed.

To print the list, click the "Print" button or press the "Enter" key when the "Print" button is highlighted.

If you'd like to export the report to a file, click the "Export Data" button or press the "Enter" key when the "Export Data" button is highlighted.

NOTE: Export to Excel only works on full versions of Microsoft Excel/Office. It does NOT work with the Office Starter 2010 and other starter/third party versions. If using any one of these, export to a Comma Separated Values (CSV) instead.

The user may also clear all the data displayed on the screen by clicking the "Cancel" button or by pressing the "Enter" key when the "Cancel" button is highlighted.


Charge Account Listings - Code

If a pharmacy wants to group a specific set of charge account patients, they can use the Short Code File.

The created short code can be set in the A/R Short Code section of the patient profile by clicking the ‘+' next to the charge account, then selecting 'OK' and 'Save’.

Back in Charge Account Listing, you can select a code and filter by ‘Any Code’, ‘Specific Code’, ‘No Code Only’, or leave it blank to apply no filter.
