Send E-Prescribing Request

This menu option offers the ability to send a refill and change request to the doctor for a specified prescription (more request types might become available in the future, pending additions on the SureScripts network).

Enter the desired prescription number, and hit "Enter" on your keyboard. This will display the RX in question and offer to either send the refill request by choosing "1- Refill Request" in the choice box, or adjust a request by clicking on "2- Change Rx Request" in the box. The pharmacy can specify the number of refills requested and their DAW choice. When these options have been selected, simply click "Send Request" to send the request to the doctor. When sending a refill request via e-prescribing, you can now change the prescriber if the new prescription will come from a different prescriber than the one that wrote the original prescription.
