Click to Call

Overview

BestRx’s Click To Call functionality allows you to trigger a call to patients, prescribers, and nursing homes using a phone/VOIP application on your PC, such as Nextiva.

 

Setup

To enable Click To Call, go to File → Pharmacy Setup → Misc (Page 2) and make sure Click to Call Service is set to Enabled.

 

Once this setting is set, the feature will be usable in BestRx.

 

VOW (Lumistry) Users

If your pharmacy is using VOW as an IVR provider, the Click To Call Service function will be enabled, and cannot be disabled. The system will then place calls using VOW.

Usage

To use Click To Call, look for the Telephone Receiver icon.

Clicking this icon will give you a list of numbers to call, with a Call button next to each one. Clicking the Call button will use your phone/VOIP application to call that phone number, after asking you which application you’d like to use.

 

The Click To Call button is present on the following screens:

  • Rx Processing Screen

  • Prescriber Screen

  • Patient Screen

  • Rx Profile Screen

  • Insurance Plan File

  • Nursing Home Screen

  • Vendor/Supplier File

  • Rx Transfer Tab

 

If you aren’t logged into your desired phone app when you click the Call button, you’ll be prompted to log into the app, and must then click the Call button again to initiate the call.
