To send prescriptions to a Mobile Device, click on Dispense / Delivery -> D. Send RXs to Mobile Device.

Send Prescriptions to Mobile Delivery Device or ScriptDrop Screen
This screen allows the user to send prescriptions that have been marked for delivery to their Mobile Delivery Device or Delivery Service, as long as the prescription is in the paid status (Cash or Transmitted to Insurance) and has been filled within last 30 days. If your mobile device (when applicable) has never been installed on or prepared, please refer to this article when speaking to BestRx and going over the installation steps.
Search for the prescription number or patient name in the top left search box to begin. When you have found the patient or corresponding prescription, select it and any other prescriptions you'd like to send to the device. The prescriptions can be filtered by all prescriptions or just delivery, and for entire family, selected patient or Entire Group/Nursing Home.
When filtering a patient selection, the software will check to see if the selected patient or family is a part of a larger group and will display the following dialogue box:

You can choose the appropriate group the patient belongs to if you'd like to queue up prescriptions for that entire group.
When filtering a family selection the program will automatically select all prescriptions for the family the patient belongs to. When filtering a group selection, the program will automatically select every prescription for every patient that belongs in the group.
If you have selected either the patient or family selection, you can change the result by simply choosing the other option for example the group. The software will then intelligently remove and add all the prescriptions that belong to the group making sure those are the only ones in the list.
When you have selected the prescriptions you'd like to send to the device, make sure you choose the appropriate driver, group and device in their appropriate drop down boxes and click "Add to Delivery Queue".
If you have other patients you need to deliver prescriptions for, simply search for them in the same manner as above and follow the same procedure to add the prescriptions to the Delivery Queue.
If you have made a mistake or simply do not wish to deliver a certain prescription and you have to remove it from the queue, select the prescription from the right side and click the "Clear" button to remove it. Alternatively you can click "Clear All" to remove all of them.
To print the prescription list, click the "Print" button or press the "Enter" key when the "Print" button is highlighted.
If you'd like to export the list to a file, click the "Export" button or press the "Enter" key when the "Export" button is highlighted. NOTE: Export to Excel only works on full versions of Microsoft Excel/Office. It does NOT work with the Office Starter 2010 and other starter/third party versions. If using any one of these, export to a Comma Separated Values (CSV) instead.
When you have all the appropriate prescriptions in the queue ready to be delivered, click the "Send RXs to Mobile Device" button to send them to your device. For steps and instructions on how to use the BestRx Mobile Delivery application for Kindle Fire tablets, please refer to the Kindle Application sub-article.
Preparing Delivery Device
Note: If you have/use more than one android device, unfortunately system limits connectivity to only one device at a time to transfer Prescriptions for Deliveries.
These instructions are for a Nexus 9 device; however, due to the structure Google applies to the Android OS specifically, most of the options on Android installations should be alike/the same with mostly cosmetic or item location changes only.
TABLET SETUP
Pull down on the notification drawer at the top of the tablet screen where you see the Battery Icon, Time, etc to reveal the settings/notification ribbon.

Tap the notification drawer header.

Tap to select the “Settings” icon.

In the settings menu, scroll to the bottom and select “About Tablet” option

The new Android operating system hides the Developer Options menu which must first be unlocked. Scroll to the item "Build Number" and tap it 5 times, or until the device unlocks Developer Options.

Hit the "back (triangle)" button to go to the previous page.

Select "Developer Options".

You should come across the option to toggle “USB Debugging” (sometimes located in the security menu instead). Toggle the option to “Checked” and click "OK" on the warning dialogue box that follows..

Click the back icon to go to the previous page.

Select the "Security" sub-menu.

Make sure the toggle Unknown Sources is toggled as ON and tap OK on the warning dialogue box that follows.

Go back to the home screen by pressing the “Home (O)” button on the bottom of the screen

Finally connect the Nexus to the computer using a USB connection.
DRIVER SETUP
With the device properly connected, a BestRx representative will install the software/driver for your tablet and ensure the computer is able to communicate with the device before going forward.
RESUME NEXUS SETUP
Once the BestRx rep installs the device successfully and triggers an action, the device should display the following dialog box; tap and check "Always allow from this computer" then tap "OK". If for whatever reason the following does not appear, reconnect the device to the computer when/if asked. It is also possible that this dialog will not appear until the first send/install of the application on the device in the following steps.

Open the Best Rx Program and start transferring RXs to Mobile Device.
Open the Delivery Application on the Nexus
Depending on operating system and manufacturer, your tablet may not automatically add applications to the home screen. To add BestRx Delivery to the home screen for convenience, tap on "App Drawer" first.

Press and Hold the BestRxDelivery Icon.

After a brief time, the Icon will pop out and the home screen will appear underneath. Drag your finger down or up (depending on screen orientation) and drop the icon in any empty space.

You can reposition the icon in line with other icons, or leave it where you dropped it. Below we show it arranged next to some other icons.

The main home screen should now display the BestRx Delivery application shortcut that you can use to launch the delivery application.
