To access the Refill Queue screen, click on Billing -> A. Refill Queue.

Refill Queue Screen

The Refill Queue provides the pharmacy a convenient list of patients and the prescriptions that require refills and are waiting in queue, that have either been added manually from the Refill Reminder report or the Auto Refill function.

The patients with refills waiting to be processed will be displayed on the left and the prescriptions for the selected patient will be displayed on the right. From here you can choose to either Process some, Process All or none of a patient's prescriptions. You can also remove them by selecting the prescription on the right, and clicking the "Remove" button.

Version 5.8.0904 and forward also introduces a new feature called Kwik Refill and Auto Process; these functions enable the user to quickly refill/process prescriptions with less effort directly from the Refill Queue screen without having to process each individual prescription at a time. BestRx will then automatically create the records and take you directly to the claim transmission screen. This feature can currently be used from the Profile, Refill Queue screen, and the Process Custom Queue screen. The Auto Process will automatically process the selected prescriptions and will display an appropriate info window when processing. Simply select the prescriptions you wish to process and click "Auto Process". In addition to all the functionality of new features, the screen will also show some more details if a prescription is included on a MedSync regimen as you can see for RX#100001 in the example above. If you choose to process prescriptions, the program will take you to the RxProcessing screen so you can process the refills like you normally would. Once all of the patient's prescriptions have been processed, the program will automatically bring you back to the Refill Queue screen so that you can process the next patient.
