F. Process General Task Queues

To access the Process General Task Queues screen, click on Workflow -> F. Process General Task Queues.

This screen facilitates processing of general tasks that might not fit into any specific category of predetermined tasks in BestRx.

In order to begin processing the queue, first choose the general task queue using the "Select Queue" drop-down box. At any time the display method can be changed with the "Display" drop-down box to view single Date, Date range, or All Records , and can be filtered to Statuses by selecting the appropriate status with the checkboxes from New, In Progress, and Completed.

In the above example we're looking at a general consultation task created by the User Demo to go over some vendor information with a "Peter". From this screen we can change the status of the task by selecting the task, then clicking on "Change Status" to change the status to any of the available options, "Keep As New", "In Progress", "Completed", or alternatively "Cancel" the change altogether.

ADDING NEW TASKS

If you'd like to add a new general task, first click the Create New button on the bottom left.

A "Create General Task" window will appear allowing you to add a new task by filling out and selecting appropriate and pertinent information to the task. When done, simply click "Create" to add the task to the queue.

To remove appointments from the queues, simply select the appointment and click the "Mark as "Completed"" button if the appointment was completed, or "Remove from Queue" to remove the appointment without completing it.
