To access the Price Formulary File screen, click on File -> E. Price Formulary File.

Price Formulary file screen

This screen allows the user to create Price Formularies to be used with drugs and insurance companies for the purpose of offering in-house loyalty or senior discounts, and possibly other features in the future. The formularies created here are directly connected and can be used from the Drug screen's Price Formulary tab.

Adding a new Price Formulary:

To add a new price formulary, click on File -> B. Price Formulary File.

When adding a new price formulary, make sure the Add Price Formulary option is selected towards the top of the screen. Enter in the Name and then click the "Save" button to save the information or click the "Save & Exit" button to save the information and go to the Rx Processing screen.

Editing an existing Price Formulary:

To edit an existing price formulary, click on File -> B. Price Formulary File.

When editing an existing price formulary, make sure to click a record from the list first, and also make sure the Edit Price Formulary option is selected towards the top of the screen. You can also enter in the whole or partial price formulary to search for price formularies in the search field beforehand. To select the formulary simply click anywhere on the row of the formulary. Enter in the appropriate information to be edited and click the "Save" button to save the information or click the "Save & Exit" button to save the information and go to the Rx Processing screen.

To delete a price formulary, make sure the Edit Price Formulary option towards the top of the screen is selected. Click the "Delete" button and click "Yes" when the system asks “Are you sure you want to delete this record?

The user may also clear all the data displayed on the screen by clicking the "Cancel" button or by pressing the "Enter" key when the "Cancel" button is highlighted.
