Overview
The Print Other Forms screen is used to prepare and print other Nursing Facility sheets such as Physician Orders. In order to print other forms, the form code for that form has to be set in the /wiki/spaces/~813395333/pages/2563211305 as well as assigning patient to LTC facility and LTC prescriptions in /wiki/spaces/~813395333/pages/2565505027
To access the Print Other Nursing Home Forms, click on LTC ➡️ 6. Print Other Forms
The report can be narrowed down by multiple options.
Generate For: Choose if you'd like to generate this report for the Nursing Home or Patient.
Nursing Home: Select All facilities or a specific facility you’d like to generate for.
Form to Print On: Indicate which form you'd like this report to be printed on.
From / To Date range: Choose the date range for this report by entering it in manually or selecting the dates with the calendar buttons.
RXs to show: Indicate if you'd like to display all, or only MAR prescriptions
More Options: Additional filters for report
Ignore Discontinue Date: Indicate whether or not to ignore the discontinue date.
PRN Filter: This will filter the report and display as needed prescriptions based on the selection. You can choose All Prescriptions, PRNs only or Non-PRNs only.
PRN Display Order: Indicate how you'd like to order the display of as needed prescriptions. You can choose Normal, Display PRNs After Other Meds, or Display PRNs Before Other Meds.
Treatment Filter: Select this filter to show All Prescriptions, Treatments only or Non-Treatments only.
Include if latest fill is on Hold: Indicate if you'd like to include prescriptions where the latest fill is on Hold status.
Include Misc. Physician Order: Indicate if you'd like miscellaneous physician orders to display in the report.
Print Other Form/Physician Orders
When you're ready to print Physician Orders, select any and all prescriptions you'd like to print. This can be done individually, by patient and clicking the check box next to their name, or selecting all by clicking the check box above the Generate Report button to Select All.
When all the appropriate prescriptions have been selected simply click "Print" to print the forms.
If you’d like to print a report with more specific information for the MAR prescriptions, click the “Export” button. This will open a prompt to select various variables to include in your exported report. This can be exported as either Microsoft Excel, .CSV, or Text File.
If you'd like to print a leaflet you can click “Print Leaflets” which will provide a print out drug information for selected drugs. .
The user may also clear all the data displayed on the screen by clicking the ‘Clear’ button or by pressing the ‘Enter’ key when the ‘Clear’ button is highlighted.
Prescription Dosage Information
If you click on the ‘Sig instructions’ or ‘Times’ portion of a blank row or when there is scheduled information in there you can pull up the prescription dosage information and set the schedule. In this prompt we can make the modifications for each dose based on time, quantity, frequency. There are other additional filters such as allowing the dosage information to be printed on MAR, be discontinued, which MAR form we can print it from, and adjusting the sig.
Other Form Example - Physician Orders
This is an example layout based on form code CA-CentralStore. BestRx unfortunately does not have a physicians order form pre-programmed for printing for ready in the software. You’ll have to choose the physicians order form that best suits the needs of the pharmacy and LTC facility. Approved physician orders form codes can be found here: Physician Orders.
