How is RxQuickSave different from traditional discount/coupon cards?

RxQuickSave is built into the BestRx Pharmacy Management System and automatically runs a cost comparison behind the scenes, eliminating the time-consuming process of manually entering and comparing claims yourself.

Is there a cost to use RxQuickSave?

RxQuickSave is included in your BestRx software, so there is no additional fee to active the program. When using RxQuickSave, all price comparisons are done at no additional cost to you. If you elect to process a claim through the program, it's free of DIR fees and excessive admin fees as well.

How much can my patients save through RxQuickSave?

RxQuickSave can provide your patients with savings up to 94% on their prescription medications and durable medical goods, while simultaneously increasing your profit margin on each claim processed.

Can all patients, regardless of their insurance status, utilize RxQuickSave?

RxQuickSave is available to all patients nationwide, whether they are insured or not. In fact, in many cases the RxQuickSave price is lower than the copay amount on funded claims.

Do I have to use RxQuickSave for every patient?

While it is not a requirement, we strongly encourage you to run RxQuickSave for every prescription claim (including refills) that you process and dispense. Prescription discount card programs and pharmacy benefit plans are loaded with ingredient spread and high admin fees that lowers a pharmacy’s margin and increases the cost to the patient. Utilizing RXQuickSave provides you with a no-cost, no-risk way to ensure you are receiving the highest possible profit margin for your pharmacy and the lowest cost for your patients.

Will my pharmacy benefit financially by using RxQuickSave?

Yes! RxQuickSave will increase the overall profit margin on your claims. Additionally, the savings you'll be able to offer your patients will help increase your patient satisfaction and loyalty as well.

How will I know if the discount will negatively affect my profit margins?

RxQuickSave will only display if and when there is an opportunity to offer patient savings and increase the pharmacy's margin on a prescription claim.

Who pays for the prescriptions that are approved by RxQuickSave?

Once approved, all prescriptions processed through RxQuickSave are converted to cash claims and your patients will pay the full amount of the prescription claim.

Are there any DIR fees or clawbacks associated with RxQuickSave?

There are no DIR fees associated with RxQuickSave. RxQuickSave builds a nominal transaction fee into the cash price of the prescription, all of which the patient pays.

How does the reimbursement process work and when will I receive payment?

With RxQuickSave, there is no reimbursement process at all. Since claims are processed as cash, you will receive payment from the patient in real-time.

What will I need to do to train my staff?
