Weekly Price Update Screen

This screen allows the user to obtain a weekly price update from BestRx; this price update is provided to us by a third party database company, and for this reason there's a possibility the prices updated won't match your wholesaler prices exactly. If you're interested in a more accurate price update based on your wholesaler and do not have our POS system, please give us a call for more information about the Wholesaler Interface (EDI) for BestRx.

To obtain a price update, select what pricing you'd like to update using the respective radial buttons. When updating the Acquisition Cost, enter in the percentage off AWP in the field provided or select "No" to not have these updated.

NOTE: If selecting "Yes", BestRx has no way of knowing your acquisition cost, and these prices will be updated using a base percentage. If you'd like to control your acquisition costs manually per each drug, make sure to select ‘No’ for acquisition pricing options.

Use the drop-down list to select the appropriate week for the update, then click the "Download" button or press the "Enter" key when the "Download" button is highlighted.

Upon completion, the program will show a report on what prices have been updated in this week's update. The report is split into two tabs. The main tab displays updated prices and a total for this week. The second tab displays any new NDCs in this update.

To print the report, click the "Print" button or press the "Enter" key when the "Print" button is highlighted.

If you'd like to export the report to a file, click the "Export Data" button or press the "Enter" key when the "Export Data" button is highlighted. NOTE: Export to Excel only works on full versions of Microsoft Excel/Office. It does NOT work with the Office Starter 2010 and other starter/third party versions. If using any one of these, export to a Comma Separated Values (CSV) instead.

The user may also exit the price update report and perform another update by clicking the "Perform Another Update" button or by pressing the "Enter" key when the "Perform Another Update" button is highlighted. Alternatively you can exit the report altogether by clicking the "Exit" button.
