Open the Internet Fax Setup screen, under the Administration drop-down menu. Then input the following settings:
Set the Provider as VowFax
Fill out the Server Name field with the URL provided by Vow.
If Vow is being used by your pharmacy for outbound calling/messaging, this will be pre-populated and does not need to be changed.
Enter your User ID provided to the pharmacy by Vow.
Enter your Password provided by Vow.
Enter your pharmacy’s Fax Number provided by Vow.
Select whether the pharmacy should accept Inbound Faxes using the Yes/No drop-down menu.
The ERx program must be restarted before inbound faxes can be received.
Set the integration to Active to enable the integration.
Once everything has been configured, click Save & Exit in the lower left corner of the screen.
Restart the BestRx software on each computer that is currently running to implement the changes, by clicking Exit or the X button at the top right of your BestRx window.
To restart the ERx program, first find the computer where it is running. It should be running on a single PC in the pharmacy, and can be found in the taskbar as pictured on the right.
Right click on the ERx icon and select Exit.
Then, reopen the ERx application, which can be typically found in C:\BestRx\BESTRXW\ERX.
Once the application has been re-opened, the setup is complete, and inbound and outbound faxes can be sent and received through the VowFax integration.
