The Internet Fax utility in the BestRx program currently utilizes the SR Fax service; this acts integrates with SRFax and Updox. These services act as a replacement to a physical fax modem, and allows allow you to utilize the service fax over your standard internet connection instead of requiring a special modem and a physical analog fax line. The service consists of additional features as well, however BestRx only utilizes the ability to send faxes through their service and nothing else. For other features, please refer to their website/your account with SRFax.

SR Fax is a paid internet faxing service you can utilize if you'd like to eliminate or currently do not have a physical modem/fax line available to send Refill Requests, Prior Authorizations and the like.

To sign up for the service, look over the available plans on the BestRx Fax Plans page and select the appropriate billing recurrence, or alternatively call SRFax directly at 1-866-697-7329 to sign up; if you are calling, be sure to mention you're a current BestRx customer to obtain this special pricing.

After selecting the plan from the plan page, you'll see the next step above. All these plans offer a 30 day free trial of the service and are all HIPAA compliant.
With the desired plan selected, you will now have the option to choose a number. You can choose from available Toll-Free prefixes and numbers, or you can select from Local prefixes and numbers. If you're looking into porting your current fax number to the service, we strongly encourage you call SRFax and speak to a representative in detail.
When you have the desired number selected, click "Next".

Enter the basic account information for the account you're creating. When you're ready, click "Next".

Enter the billing information for where this account will be billed after the trial. The account can be canceled at any time previous to first time billing by emailling support@srfax.com. When all the billing information is entered, click "Next". Confirm all information from the previous entries on the confirmation screen and sign up for the account.

When the account has been created, you can Log In using the link at the top right of the page and enter the information as shown above.

The account page displays basic information about your account. To access other account functions, simply hover the mouse over the My Account link in the navigation bar at the top of the website and select the appropriate function as shown below.
