Akario Backline Setup Screen

DrFirst's Akario Backline® offers you and your staff a secure messaging solution built specifically for healthcare that meets all HIPAA, HiTech Act and Joint Commission requirements. Backline offers the ease of text messaging with colleagues and patients, without the risk of sending protected health information (PHI) over common, non-secure channels, which can result in costly HIPAA violations.

NOTE: These settings should be entered and tested with assistance of BestRx Pharmacy Software.

If you have already signed up for the service, please contact BestRx Pharmacy Software to have the interface configured.

Login Email ID: Enter the login email ID provided.

Password: Enter the password for the above login ID.

License Number: Enter the license number. This number is provided by BestRx Pharmacy Software.

If the feature has already been set up, the administrator can create additional user accounts directly from Bestrx; simply pick the appropriate BestRx account in the User ID field, then enter the contact email that user would prefer. Cell phone is NOT a mandatory field. After the info has been entered, simply click "Add User" and continue doing so for others if necessary. NOTE: Users can also be added from the Akario dashboard; however, users added from the Akario dashboard DO NOT sync to BestRx due to communication limitations.

After the feature has been set up, the admin will be able to log in with their appropriate credentials. You may also refer to the Akario for assistance with common tasks.
