Display Rx Image on Refills: Choose this option if you'd like the scanned image to display when processing refills on a prescription with a hard copy scan attached.

Scan Both Side: This option pertains to Duplex scanners only, allowing both sides of the page to be scanned.

MISCELLANEOUS

Screen Resize Mode: Choose how you'd like the BestRx window to display on your monitor.

  • Normal Full Screen (recommended): This setting stretches the window by 4:3 aspect ratio. It will leave a grey area on the right side of the screen when using a widescreen monitor.

  • Stretched Full Screen: This setting stretches and adjusts the program to fill the entirety of your monitor.

  • Do Not Resize: This setting keeps the program in native size. On modern monitors the program will appear as a small box in the upper left, with grey areas on the bottom and right of the screen.

Send "Enter" key after scanning: This option pertains strictly to the barcode scanner. If your barcode scanner isn't automatically entering the scanned code, it's most likely due to the device lacking the Enter input, if the barcode scanner is in its default mode/settings. Select "Yes" in this field to emulate this input.

Remember to click the "Save" button or press the "Enter" key when the "Save" button is highlighted to save the information. Click the "Save & Exit" button or press the "Enter" key when the "Save & Exit" button is highlighted to save the information and go to the Rx Processing screen.

The user may also clear all the data displayed on the screen by clicking the "Cancel" button or by pressing the "Enter" key when the "Cancel" button is highlighted.
