Workflow Report
The Workflow Report displays detailed information about a prescription’s processing, including the date and time for each step in the RX workflow. In most states (except NJ), the report shows only the Verification and Workflow Status steps. If the pharmacy enables mandatory workflow in Pharmacy Setup, the report will also display three additional workflow steps.
To access the Workflow Report screen, click on Workflow J. Workflow Report.
Workflow Report Settings
The Workflow Report settings allow you to control how the report is generated and displayed.
Once the report is generated, you can also sort the results at any time by clicking the column headers.
Search using: Action Date (date/time of prescription action), Fill Date, Patient and Fill Date, or Rx Number
Date Range: From and To dates
Status: Paid and Transmitted, All but Hold, or All Statuses
Show: All Rx or Only Verified Rx
Display Report Using: Rx View or Full List View
Summary Tab
The summary displays all workflow steps performed and records how many times each step was completed by the user (e.g., Entered into System, Approved by Insurance, Label Printed, Verify Before Fill, Verify Before Dispense, Fill Prescription, Review Drug Interactions).
Workflow Report - Workflow Event Fields added to Summary Export
Individual Workflow Event fields are now available in the Summary export.
Authorization Type for Ohio Positive ID Report
When additional authorization is required for logging of Positive ID, the Authorization Type will be included in the report. The three types of Authorization will include Keyboard, Biometric, and Badge scan. Additional development is in progress to include the Auth Type for more workflow events.
Ohio Positive ID Enhancements
Authorization Types have been added to show each step of workflow and the source that authorized the step. Keyboard, Biometric, or barcode/QR code scan will be the only auth types.
Pharmacies can also disable the use of the keyboard for providing authorization.
Workflow Details In Rx Processing
You can also check a prescription’s workflow by entering the Rx number in Rx Processing and selecting the 'H' button. This displays the workflow details for that prescription in BestRx.
Show Workflow Source: When enabled, the source is displayed; when disabled, it is hidden from view.
Automated Cash Discount - Workflow History
The Workflow Report also displays auto discount details and can be filtered by Rx # and Rx View. No other reports currently include this information
Printing & Exporting
To print, select Print or press Enter when the Print button is highlighted. If you are on the Summary tab, you can print the summary as well.
To export, click Export Data (this works only with the full version of Microsoft Excel; Office Starter versions are not supported).
If you're using a limited version of Office, export as CSV instead.
To clear the screen, select Cancel or press Enter when the Cancel button is highlighted.
