6. Inactive Reports
Inactive record reporting has been streamlined by consolidating all inactive reporting tools into a single, centralized location within BestRx Reports 6. Inactive Reports. This enhancement makes it easier to identify and manage inactive records across multiple areas of the system, including Rx, Patients, Drugs, and Prescribers. Each report supports filtering, sorting, printing, and exporting, giving pharmacies greater visibility into records that are no longer actively used.
1. Inactive Rx Reports
The Inactive RX Report displays prescriptions that have been marked as Inactive in the BestRx system.
Users can specify a date range to generate the report and then print the results or export the data to an Excel file for further review and analysis.
2. Inactive Patients Report
The Inactive Patients Report displays patients whose last prescription activity falls within a selected date range.
Results can be sorted by clicking any column header, allowing users to quickly organize patient information based on their needs. The report can also be exported to an Excel file for further review and analysis.
3. Inactive Drugs Report
The Inactive Drugs Report displays drugs that have not been used within a specified period. By default, the report searches for drugs with no activity during the last three months, though the date range can be adjusted as needed. Users can further refine results using common drug filters such as Schedule, Brand/Generic, and Rx/OTC status. After selecting the desired criteria, click Generate Report to view matching records.
The report can be exported to an Excel file for further review and analysis. Users can also select one or more drugs and use the Set Drugs as Inactive in Drug File option to automatically mark those drugs as inactive within the Drug File.
Note: This action requires the daily BestRx password to help prevent accidental changes and ensure only authorized users can inactivate drugs.
4. Inactive Prescribers Report
The Inactive Prescriber Report provides visibility into prescribers who have not generated prescription activity within a specified date range. This report helps pharmacies review prescriber utilization, identify outdated or unused prescriber records, and maintain an accurate and up-to-date Prescriber File.
The report can be exported to an Excel file for further review and analysis. Users can also select one or more prescribers and use the Set Prescriber as Inactive option to automatically mark those prescribers as inactive within the Prescriber File.
