12. Search Master Insurance File
Master Insurance File
The Master Insurance File allows you to search through a database of known insurance plans, to easily add them into your own local insurance plan file for use with your patients.
To search, enter the Plan Name, BIN, or PCN in the search bar, and the screen will automatically search for matching plans.
To search the Master Insurance File, go to File 12. Search Master Insurance File.
To add a plan, check the box next to the plan you want to add and click Add To Your Insurance File at the bottom.
Grey plans: Already exist in your system — do not add again
May appear under a different name but share the same BIN/PCN
Red plans: Inactive — do not use. Note: Can be added via manual entry, but may not function properly.
Tip: Use the plan type filter (top right) to quickly narrow your search
Exporting
Plan information can be exported to excel from the master insurance list.
