Nursing Home Rx Manager Screen

Nursing Home Rx Manager

The Nursing Home RX manager is an easy and convenient way to flag multiple prescriptions as Nursing Home prescriptions. By default prescriptions that are not flagged as Nursing Home will not appear when printing MAR forms. This function will flag those prescriptions appropriately and let you print them on your MAR forms.

Enter the patient or RX number by typing out the information in the field. The DOB, Address and Phone Number are there for display only and are used to verify that you're working with the correct patient's info.

The left side displays the full RX profile for the patient. The right side displays all active nursing home prescriptions for the patient. To flag prescriptions as nursing home prescriptions, simply select the ones not marked off in gray on the left side of the screen and click the "Add" button. If you need to un-flag any prescription and convert it back to a regular prescription, select it from the right column and click the "Remove" button. If at any point you need to deselect all of your choices, click the "Clear Checks" button.

If you are currently using more than one form and need to switch prescriptions to another form, select the prescriptions to change from the right side, and click the "Change Form" button. The program will display a pop-up, in which you can select the desired form to change over to.

When working with multiple forms you can view their corresponding active prescriptions by changing the form type in the drop-down box.

The user may also clear all the data displayed on the screen by clicking the "Clear" button or by pressing the "Enter"key when the "Clear" button is highlighted.
