Import Insurance Plans

The Import Insurance Plans function is available in order to add insurance plans into the system you might not have.

  • This is most often used by new pharmacies that do not have any record of any insurance plans. In either case, we have basic insurance information we can create and send/transfer an insurance plan file to you.

  • In order to update plans using this method you will be required to enter a daily password that's generated by the BestRx server, and thus requires you to call BestRx in order to use this function.

  • When you have obtained the password and the update file, enter the password in the box and click "Ok". From the top section browse to the file by clicking the "..." button and select where you have saved the file.

  • You can select/deselect plans that you wish to add/skip. When you have made your selection, click on "Import Plans" in the bottom right. The software will pop-up a result box notifying the user of the import.

This screen will display how many plans were added, how many plans already existed, if any plans were skipped or of any records had an error. Click "OK" to close the dialogue box. You can exit the screen and begin using the insurance plans that were added.
