Recent updates are retiring legacy delivery application for Android OS 13 and above devices, with no guarantee of compatibility for newer versions. Transitioning to the BestRx cloud delivery application is highly recommended. |

Note: If you have/use more than one android device, unfortunately system limits connectivity to only one device at a time to transfer Prescriptions for Deliveries. |
Info |

These instructions are for a Nexus 9 device; however, due to the structure Google applies to the Android OS specifically, most of the options on Android installations should be alike/the same with mostly cosmetic or item location changes only. |
Tablet Setup
Pull down on the notification drawer at the top of the tablet screen where you see the Battery Icon, Time, etc to reveal the settings/notification ribbon.
Tap the notification drawer header.
Tap to select the “Settings” icon.
In the settings menu, scroll to the bottom and select “About Tablet” option
The new Android operating system hides the Developer Options menu which must first be unlocked. Scroll to the item "Build Number" and tap it 5 times, or until the device unlocks Developer Options.
Hit the "back (triangle)" button to go to the previous page.
Select "Developer Options".
You should come across the option to toggle “USB Debugging” (sometimes located in the security menu instead). Toggle the option to “Checked” and click "OK" on the warning dialogue box that follows.
Click the back icon to go to the previous page.
Make sure the toggle Unknown Sources is toggled as ON and tap OK on the warning dialogue box that follows.
Go back to the home screen by pressing the “Home (O)” button on the bottom of the screen
Finally connect the Nexus to the computer using a USB connection.
Delivery Driver Setup
With the device properly connected, a BestRx representative will install the software/driver for your tablet and ensure the computer is able to communicate with the device before going forward.
Resuming Tablet Setup
Once the BestRx rep installs the device successfully and triggers an action, the device should display the following dialog box; tap and check "Always allow from this computer" then tap "OK". If for whatever reason the following does not appear, reconnect the device to the computer when/if asked. It is also possible that this dialog will not appear until the first send/install of the application on the device in the following steps.
Open the Best Rx Program and start transferring Rxs to Mobile Device.
Opening the Delivery Application
Depending on operating system and manufacturer, your tablet may not automatically add applications to the home screen. To add BestRx Delivery to the home screen for convenience, tap on "App Drawer" first.
Press and Hold the BestRxDelivery Icon.
After a brief time, the Icon will pop out and the home screen will appear underneath. Drag your finger down or up (depending on screen orientation) and drop the icon in any empty space.
You can reposition the icon in line with other icons, or leave it where you dropped it. Below we show it arranged next to some other icons.
The main home screen should now display the BestRx Delivery application shortcut that you can use to launch the delivery application.
