Refill Request

The functions available will be the same for all except Electronic Prescriptions. Some doctors do not participate in a full service within the SureScripts network, preventing them from being able to receive electronic refill requests. In a case where you're attempting to send a refill request to such doctor, the option for sending an electronic refill request will be unavailable.

• E - Send E-Prescribing Refill Request (Only for doctors that accept refill requests through E-Rx)

Choose this option to electronically send the refill request through the SureScripts network. Select the appropriate options on the following screen and click "Send Request" to submit.

• F - Fax Refill Request Directly From the Computer

If your computer is outfitted and configured to be able to use a dial-up modem, choose this option to directly fax the refill request to the doctor.

• P - Print a Hard Copy of the Refill Request

Choose this option if you'd like to print a Refill Request form on your printer, and manually fax it through your fax machine to the doctor's office.

• B - Both Fax and Print Refill Request

Choose this option if you'd like to directly fax a prescription through your computer and you'd also like to keep a full Refill Request page for your records.

• DS - Print Drug Substitution Request

Choose this option if you'd like to print out a drug substitution request form..

• T - Print Telephoned Rx Form

Choose this option to print a summary of the Refill Request that you'll phone the doctor about. This form contains less information than the regular Refill Request form, and is used for a summarized printed record of the request.

• N - Print New Medication Order Form

Choose this option to print a new medication order form.

• Z - Print New Prescription Form

Choose this option if you'd like to request a brand new prescription from the doctor.

• C - Cancel

If you wish to cancel the request, simply click "Cancel" or the "Esc" key on your keyboard.
