Overview

Solutran and BestRx are partned together to allow pharmacies to process OTC card payments through the BestPOS point-of-sale software. Because the Solutran S3 solution operates directly through the BestPOS software, there is no need to purchase an additional terminal.

Pharmacies can register with Solutran’s S3 Retailer Network by clicking this link.

If you have additional questions, you can contact:

Dan Galinson | National Account Executive – S3 Retail Network

Setup

To set up S3 functionality up, open POS Admin → Administration → Store Setup → General and make sure the Accept SolutranS3 Cards to Yes. In addition, the pharmacy’s merchant ID through Solutran should be entered in the S3 Merchant ID field. We at BestRx do not retain this information; the pharmacist will need to reach out to Solutran if they do not know their merchant ID.

Usage

Solutran/S3 is processed as its own tender type on the Tender screen.

After choosing Solutran/S3 as the tender type, an S3 dialog box will appear, and the pharmacy can scan in the Solutran card. This will populate the barcode in the S3 Barcode # field.
