Setting up MTM Interfaces

BestRx currently supports two Medication Therapy Management platform, OutcomesMTM, and Amplicare. While OutcomesMTM is currently a simpler platform within BestRx and can only display opportunities and require usage of their website, Amplicare’s integration is a little more built out and requires a third party program to run on your PC.

OutcomesMTM

To register with OutcomesMTM, the please visit their registration page to sign up and log in. Once your account is created, OutcomesMTM information will populate on the main MTM screen in the OutcomesMTM tab.

Due to the nature of the OutcomesMTM integration, there are no settings within BestRx to change.

Amplicare Assist

SMP Settings

BestRx also supports SMP for Immunization submission; while not entirely an MTM feature, it does utilize Opportunity functionality when on a Free/Advertising Backed level of service and will display those opportunities in the same areas of the software. To register with SMP, please email them at info@rxsmp.com, or call 888-790-0767.

These settings should only be adjusted with assistance of a BestRx Technician.

  • Location Identifier: Enter the identifier you received after successfully enrolling for SMP.

  • Username: Enter the SMP account username.

  • Password: Enter the SMP account password.

  • Enabled: Choose if this service should be enabled.
